One of the great joys of the Disney vacation for me is that I get to leave the car seats at home. Its all bus in Florida and no need for the seats. However, we are planning a day trip over to Sea World in June and I am not sure of the best way to do it. It seems to me we have three main options 1) take the Lync bus, 2) get a car/shuttle service or 3) rent a car on property.

I have a couple of questions, and am wondering if anyone can offer any input.

Car Service
If I get a town car service does anyone know if it is possible to leave car seats with them during the day, and get the same car for the return trip? Do any of the car services offer car seat rental as well as the car service?

Rental
I assume that most of the onsight rental companies offer the ability to drop off and pick up? Has anyone done a day rental? Are the prices way out of line? I would prefer, I think, to pick up the night before and then drop off after we get back from Sea World, does anyone know how late the onsight places are open (it looks like not very late from what I have seen).

Thanks for any info or suggestions.

If it were me, I would just go with a car service...leave the driving to them. If you rent a car, your options are somewhat limited. You can rent through Alamo/National at the Car Care Center by the entrance to MK, where they provide pickup/dropoff service, but it has to be booked a day in advance, or you can rent through A/N at the Dolphin, but they close up around 4pm each day.
Other companies are located in the DTD area hotels....Budget, for instance, is at the Doubletree. Some of these companies will also pick you up/drop you off. Car rental prices have been very high lately...so a two day rental may very well cost you more than the cost of a car service.

If you go with a car service, they should be able to provide you with car seats, for both legs of the trip. And you don't have to pay for parking at SW if you use a car service. You would if you rented a car.

You didn't mention this option, but on Tuesday I took a cab to and from Disney's Beach Club Resort. Cab fare was $23 each way (plus tip).

I didn't have the car seat issue, though.
