Transport to Grand Floridian

We plan to spend a day at MK and have an ADR at 1900 Park Fare in the evening. My question is will the monorail take you to Grand Floridian? What other means of transport should we consider?

The fastest way to get there is the resort boat launch. It makes a loop from MK to GF to Poly, back to MK. To get back from GF to MK the monorail is the fastest as that loop goes from GF to MK to CR, to TTC, to Poly, back to GF.

The dock at GF is next to Narcoossee's. The monorail goes to the main building.

We tend to find that the boat is faster to the GF than the monorail, because of how long the monorail sits at each station. We went to the GF Cafe a few weeks ago, and the monorail hadn't even left the MK station by the time we got to the GF.

The boat from MK to GF is the fastest. The monorail from MK to GF may or may not be faster than the boat, but for the kids it's pretty darn cool.

But, many (adults and kids a like) think the monorail is so fun that it's as good as any ride in MK. So, you may WANT the longer ride from MK to GF, just so you are on the monorail longer. It will giveyou a bit of a tour along the way, the "announcer" points out interesting sites and facts about the CR, the TTC, the Poly and the GF.
