Hi :-)

Me and my boyfriend are staying on I drive next September and I really want to go to a beach one day to have a chill day, I'm thinking either cocoa beach or Daytona? we aren't renting a car as we are both going to be U25.

Does anyone know if there is any shuttle buses that provide transport to any of these?

Thank you
Beth

Don't know of any but if there was it would probably be more of a hassle than you think.

if you can't rent a car

consider spending the day at an Orlando water park, of which there R MANY

There is NO public transportation between Orlando and the Canaveral/Cocoa beaches .. none that I know of anyway . . . btw, I live at the beach.

Ok. First....a post regarding companies offering tours in other countries has no bearing here.

Second.....there really aren't any inexpensive ways to get to the beach if you don't rent a car. You might find a car service that would take you but it would be very expensive because the car would have to return to get you back to Orlando. You could try googling this and see what you get.
I really have not heard of anyone using a shuttle service to the coast.

I wanted to add to my post now that I'm not on my phone.

OP Staying off site without a rental is going to be a hassle just getting to the parks. Getting 70 miles to Coco or Daytona Beach and back is just that much harder. If there is such an excursion, you would still have to get to some local meeting point.

One other thing is I'm assuming that you are going to use your off site resort's free shuttle to WDW and maybe public busses to parks like Universal or Sea World. Just be aware that most people report finding it to be a hassle using these shuttles early in their trip and end up either using a lot of taxi's or renting a car.

unless you are under 21 ... I would consider Rental Car options ...
under 25 would not be impossible.

This would probably be the least expensive way to get to the Beach at Daytona Beach without renting a car from the Orlando Airport. http://doshuttle.com/new-shuttle-rates/
They run a regular schedule (every two hours between 4am and 10pm).
They do dropoffs at beach hotels for slightly higher charge.
