Transparent yoga pants - yuck!

You are not at all prudish. I saw a teen/pre teen yesterday at Boma wearing shorts that barely covered her underware, with a loose top that ended at the shorts. She looked like she was wearing pjs at dinner for Boma. If I was her mom I would have never let her out of the house, much less to Boma!

This reminds me of when I was at 50's PTC in January 2014. It was a somewhat cold evening (by FL standards that is; we're talking mid 50s at night), and I remember one of the waitresses walking up to a family at a nearby table, looking at the teenage daughter, and yelling to the entire restaurant "Honey, where are the rest of your pants? It's three degrees outside?" It was pretty funny. Everyone started laughing.

Public service announcement: I am not skinny and I am intending on wearing yoga Capri every day I am at wdw this month.

But I promise you won't see my drawers :)

For real though, they are workout pants that I wear when walking, running, doing yoga, and lifting heavy. If I'm going to be walking 10k a day minimum (which I do in the parks) I'm going to be comfortable in moisture wicking clothes and asics.

I would be mortified if someone saw my underwear

Did you politely say something to them yourself

I can't see what the problem is? Do people get upset looking at women in bikinis at the water parks too?
>>>

The problem is nobody wants to see your underwear, your boobs hanging everywhere, your bottom biscuits hanging out of your shorts, etc, etc. And since they aren't AT a water park I don't get your point. If they were at a water park those same people would be the ones wearing thongs and bending over in front of you!

I personally wouldn't be as offended seeing someone's underwear THROUGH their yogas as these girls with their actual butt cheeks hanging out the bottom of their shorts.

I'm going to be honest.... I've never noticed it in WDW. I'm going to say that's probably because I work in a local supermarket where the place is crawling with women who are inadvertently advertising their goods so seeing it anywhere else simply doesn't phase me.

On a side note - Occasionally you may see my bra strap slightly, however please be grateful that I have a bra on. There are plenty people walking around with their bits flapping around so a bra strap on show is a small crime really ;)

I wouldn't say "nobody"... ;) I'm sure some folks find the view delightful.

Others might be offended by the sight of double chins, fat people, skinny people, sweaty people, hairy people, whatever. But, you know what? They always have the option to relax, avert their eyes and look somewhere else.

I honestly think that people just don't have any clue what they look like from behind, and would be mortified if they did. I don't think *most* of them would be in thongs, I think people just walk around clueless. That show "What Not to Wear" was a huge eye opener for me, I think everyone should watch a few episodes, LOL. I started paying a lot of attention to how I look from all angles thanks to that show, and always make sure that my clothes are fitting properly.

I don't see the big deal in yoga pants/leggings if they are flattering on you and not see through. I'm at the gym 6 days a week and I run errands with my kids. I live in my yoga pants and I don't care what people think. They're comfortable and my skin is covered. In the fall I wear nice leggings and sweaters but I do like my tops longer than my butt and front side so they are more like a tunic. Id never wear leggings with a waist length top. At Disney I wear work out clothes. It's not a gym there but I'm sorry I'm running around playing with my kids walking all day off and on rides why would I wear anything other than that?! Why am I gonna wear jeans and be uncomfortable?

I wear leggings and I am not skinny... but I honestly don't give a flying what other people think. I do buy nice ones that are not see through or thin (I check) and I do only wear them with tops that cover my behind/tummy. But they are comfortable and easy to wear with a number of looks. Don't like it, then look away. It's your problem.

Funny. There is an artlcle in the paper today in a shopping advice column from someone who said she sees women at the airports, traveling and shopping in what appears to be workout outfits skintight that are revealing in the area customarily covered by underwear. She asked if was a thing and ok to wear.

Columnist said leggings aren't pants. She suggested to Wear a tunic or long sweater over will solve the problem of covering critical body areas.

As a thought.... there are people saying they'll wear yoga pants in Disney. That's fine, it's your choice and if you look and feel good then that's all that matters. I believe the original issue wasn't that someone was wearing them but that some yoga pants were in actual fact see through and it left nothing to the imagination.

ETA: I have nothing against people wanting to wear yoga pants. See through or not see through, my mind was fried once upon a time at Typhoon Lagoon and I can't even begin to describe that horrific image so see through yoga pants are pretty tame..

I wore yoga pants every day of our trip in December and I was not in the best shape of my life. They weren't see through either. I'm not sure what people are supposed to wear if yoga pants are, as some have said, not real pants! I find jeans to be uncomfortable and heavy and hot.
