Can anyone recommend a company that will transfer us from WDW to DCL, our travel agent said they cant because they did not book the cruise??????

Also a transfer company from MCO to universal resorts, they quoted $180 one way and I am sure there is a cheaper priced one out there that is still good.

There is six of us.
thanks

Would you hire a car?

So much cheaper!!

They have bus transfers to the terminal from the hire car places at Port Canaveral...

I used ACE transportation in Orlando for a wedding cruise where we had 24 people and was very happy with them. They took us from the airport to the cruise terminal and back and the price was very reasonable, much cheaper than purchasing DCL transfers for each person. I believe their website is aceluxury.com and you can see their rates there.

Taxi from UO to MCO costs around $50. There are large vans that operate as taxis. The one that took us from RPR to MCO was a 7-seater van and it still charged us $50.

I probably won't be of any help as the options I used are unlikely to be the cheapest for a party of 6, but here's my experience anyway.

We used the DCL bus to get to Port Canaveral which we enjoyed as there were cartoons the whole way to keep my son entertained as well as a cute little 'You're about to go on a cruise' video which got him really excited. We were on the first bus of the day that left MCO as we had the first port arrival time of the day. It was wonderful getting to the Port that early and doing all of our paperwork and getting my son' skids club band before the onslaught of queues. Also getting onto the ship early was a blessing. I went straight up to guest services and got the exact bookings I wanted (Mixology, Ship Tour, and Galley Tour).

The DCL buses don't leave WDW as early as they leave MCO, so if you have an early port arrival time you will need private transfers.

As for Universal, we booked our transfers as part of a Universal package and while I can't remember the price, I do remember thinking it was reasonable. Especially since they were private transfers where the driver was waiting at baggage claim for us with a sign with our name on. The company is called Quick Transportations. I'm not sure if they cost more if the aren't bundled as a package. I also think that Mears do a shuttle. Otherwise, for a family of 6, I think PIO's suggestion of a taxi is probably the most economical.

we also used the dcl transfers (you can just call dcl direct for these) and they are $35pp one way or $70pp return.

we were originally planning on going from mco to the port, but then changed to a wdw stay before our cruise, so our transfers were from Art of Animation to the port -- our port arrival time was supposed to be 11.30am and our transfer time (you find out the night before, they drop a letter off at your room) was 12.45pm -- eeek!!!! By the time the dcl bus took off, and we arrived at the port, it was close to 2.30 by the time we boarded the ship. While i loved the DCL transfer, if i was going to stay at wdw prior to my cruise again, I would most definitely arrange a private transfer company, as we missed out on lunch on board/getting our bearings etc, and it felt like we lost a lot of the day (we were mostly just sitting around the hotel at wdw waiting for our transfer as we weren't game to head into a park and risk missing our dcl transfer).

for universal to mco/return we used mears shuttle -- we booked it as part of our universal package, but you can also book directly through mears for the same price -- it's about $15pp one way or $32 return for royal pacific resort to mco. we've used them on each trip we've taken and they are nothing but reliable, on time, clean and courteous. i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them :)

We used Execucar for all our US transfers on both out 2010 and 2013 trip - actually 2013 we had Qantas Chauffeur pick up and drop of with our airline tickets- but for all others we just used Execucar and I'd unreservedly recommend them to anyone.

If you're looking for private transfers I would recommend Ace Transfers, they offer a discount if you book multiple trips, so you could go to port, universal and then the airport with them. We have used Disney transfers in the past and had no issues. The port arrival time doesn't matter with them, if you use their transfers you get a general boarding time which means you can board any time after you're checked in but they do arrive a little later. Last time we checked in with 10 minutes until our stateroom was ready, which I actually liked because it meant we could dump our carry on before heading up for lunch.
