No, that doesn't sound right unless some information is missing from your post. The transferred points though retain their own home resort and use year - you can't just lump them all together at 11 months and use for one reservation at one home resort location.

Maybe you could explain better - your statement "I wanted to transfer june use year to and aug use year" is a little unclear, so it might just be a communication issue (either my answer or DVC's answer).

As Vicki said, your post is a little unclear as to what you are asking. If you have a June use year, you can not go to Disney and say, "I don't want June anymore, I'd like August." Use years are assigned by unit and deed, so you can not juy change your use year.

If you want to transfer AUgust points into you account from another member, yes, you can do that, with the caveat that Vicki mentioned, they retain their home resort and use year.

They also have to be in the same use year "year". For instance, June is now in the 2012 use year. If someone has August 2011 points, they can not transfer them to you. It would have to be August 2012 points.

You would have to transfer June 2012 points into Aug 2012 contract. They could not be borrowed to be used before Aug 1, 2012. You can't transfer June 2013 into an Aug 2012 contract.

You should be able to transfer June 2011 into an Aug 2011 (which is that current UY) and bank them into Aug 2012 and use them from 8/1/12. If MS will allow you to bank them after the banking deadline.

thanks everyone for your quick responses. i called ms back and explained what i was told and they relooked at what i wanted to do and said i could do it and since i had just made the reservation correct it so i didn;t have to borrow.
