We will be cruising on the 9/13/03 Magic with seven adults. The cost for Disney transfers for all of us is ~$350.00. Does anyone know of anyone else that we could use to get to/from the port. Any info would be appreciated.

Well, I've heard a lot about Happy Limo, but my husband and I really enjoy the bus ride (Disney transfer) personally. It just makes us that much more excited! And all the excited kids draw us that much deeper into the "Magic!":teeth:

We use Happy Limo and we really like it because it allows us to get to the port early. Ever since 9/11, we have started flying in the night before our cruises. We stay at an MCO-area hotel with a free shuttle, and then we have the towncar pick us up in the morning. It is a very smooth and convenient way to get to the port, and you can get there before the bus crowds. Also, you won't have to wait if there are a lot of people ahead of you and the bus is full.

Thank you so much for the information. It looks like we could save a lot with Happy Limo. Have you had any problems with them being late for pick-ups or drop-offs? We will be staying at MCO-Hyatt the night before. What time shoudl Ih ave them pick us up there to get to port in time and what time should they pick us up at port for return to MCO. Thanks for all of your help.

Yeah, Inkoggnito (sp?) has a lot of experience with them. And I did check it out once. It was cheaper for a big group to rent it, but for just the two of us, it was much more expensive than the transfers. But I would definitely trust Inkoggnito. And if you haven't been to her site yet, do so! It's great! I go there to get the latest Navigators!

With a party of seven definitely go for a limo or towncar service with a van, it will save you a bunch compared to DCL transfers.

There are lots of town car/limo services that will transport you to the port. You may also want to post this on our Transportation Board for opinions of the various services. :)

Personally, we had a bad experience with Happy Limo, although I have read a lot of people like them. Perhaps it was an isolated experience. Although it didn't sit well with us that after trying to reach someone for at least 30 minutes when they didn't show up at the port, we received two different stories from the person on the phone and the driver that finally got us. And after returning home I emailed them about the incident and never received any follow-up. We are trying Your Ride for our upcoming trip.

We are renting a stretch limo from Happy Limo to go from MCO to the port as a surprise treat for the kids. On the way back we are renting a car from Avis since the flight won't be until 3:15pm. The limo costs about $150 one way. There are four of us in the family but I was told that the limo seats 10 people so it seems that it would work for your larger family. If anyone else has had a bad experience with Happy Limo I'd like to hear about it so perhaps we could switch to another company.

Thanks
