Transfers from Wonder to Vancouver airport

If we choose Disney transfers, will we ever see our luggage after we lay it out the night before - like they did on the Dream? Or will we have to grab our luggage somewhere because of customs and check our bags again?

That might make it worth the $25 per person charge for the 4 of us. Otherwise I'd be tempted just to get a cab.

Cab is about $35 ($27 USD) for the carload.

The only time I would discourage use of a cab is there are 3 ships docking Vancouver that morning...

There is no luggage delivery service to the Vancouver airport like in Florida. You will pick up your bags when you go through customs (even if you use DCL transfers). You and your bags will arrive together and you will have to check them.

My husband and I used Disney transfers after our Alaska cruise last August. It was well worth the price. After you eat breakfast and disembark the ship, you go through customs. After customs, you go into a room and grab your luggage and then head to the Disney transfer area. I think we waited 5 minutes for us to load onto a bus a head back to the airport. It was very smooth sailing and we will be doing Disney transfer for every disney cruise we take.

For those who have taken a cab to the airport after a cruise, how far is the cab pickup at Canada Place from the Disney transfer area?

Because we will have a party of 4 adults, the cost of a cab would likely be significantly less than the $45 per person for the Disney transfers. So, I am trying to decide if there is a convenience factor that would offset the extra cost.

I live here so I have no use for transfers, but I can say the cab pick up is right outside Canada Place. They line up waiting for customers and snake around so once you are in the cab line it will drive up right in front of you.

We did Express Walk-off. We ate breakfast in the dining room, and as soon as we finished breakfast we were able to walk of the ship and grab a taxi. Super quick!

How long is the walk to the taxi line once you get through customs?

if you have some time, you could walk to the Vancouver Mall on Granville Street, have lunch, then catch the train at the mall to the Airport. About 30min to the YVR airport by train.
