Transfers?-Arriving a day early

In order to take advantage of the only nonstop flight from Buffalo to MCO, my daughter and I will be flying down on Wed. 2/12, staying near the airport and getting up early to get over to Beach Club to start enjoying the first day of our 3 day land/4 day cruise.

I purchased the full transfers, but since I am arriving early I am now beginning to think it might be better to take my own taxi from the hotel near the airport to the Beach Club --rather than the hotel shuttle to the airport to catch the Mears shuttle to the BC!

I believe there is a $46 transfer that would take us from the BC to ship and back to MCO.

Does anyone know around how much a taxi from the airport area to the Beach Club might be?

Are there two levels of transfers?

Is this something that I could change one month prior to the trip?

Any suggestions would be apperciated!

According to the Orlando Airport web site, you could expect to pay $50 for a taxi from the airport area to WDW. That fare would be inclusive for 1 - 9 people. Was that $46 per person or the total for your party? Was that just for the airport to BC, or was that the total price including BC to port and port to airport?

The difference between the two levels of transfers for both in my party works out to be about $30. So, the transfers beginning at the airport are a better deal than the two of us taking a taxi for $50.

Does anyone know where I would go to find the Mears shuttle and how early in the morning they begin operation?

More info is on their web site, http://www.mearstransportation.com, but the Mears Ticket offices are by the baggage claim areas, and the busses depart from level 1.

I don't know when they start in the morning, but the web site lists phone numbers you could call.
