Transferring Princess Cruise booking to Costco

Hi all. We've cruised with DCL and RCL multiple times and booked directly with them and then transferred the booking to Costco to get the Costco Gift Card cash back. I'm wondering anybody has done it with Princess as we're looking to book our first cruise onboard the Discovery Princess. I guess I'm also asking this because my wife got a promotion through a local casino that she gambles at and they offered her and I a "free" cruise on Carnival, Holland or Princess. Also just wondering if because we are booking a promotion if that would impact our ability to transfer the reservation to Costco. Any insight is much appreciated. TIA.

The Costco cash card is based on the price you paid for the cruise. If the price is free, not sure you would even get a Costco card if you did manage to move the booking.

Yes, good point and forgive me for not providing full details. We have kids and maybe mom and MIL coming too so we will need to pay for them to go too.

you might should call Costco travel and tell them the situation. Free cruise for some. Paying for some. See if a transfer is even possible!
