Transferring points

I have a question about transferring points. I want to transfer 30 points to a friend's DVC account. She wants to make a reservation in November at the 11 month window. However, I don't have any points left in this use year and my next use year doesn't start until March '05.

So my question is - can I transfer the 30 points to my friend now, "borrowing" from next year. Or would I have to wait until the new use year begins which would mean she missed the 11 month window.

Any help appreciated.

you cant transfer the points now, but when transferring, make sure the points are transfer into your friends right use year to use the points for nov.
call Ms to comfirm & dont forget to tell ms that your friend wants to make ressies for nov. 05 so the points go into her right use year.


you could always make the ressies for your friends, borrow the points at the 11 month and make the ressies in their name.

If the op has no points until March, how can she transfer them now? I was under the impression that borrowed points cannot be transferred. Wouldn't the op have to borrow points if there are currently none in her account? What am I missing here?
