transferring points

Hello: Maybe someone could answer a question(s) for me. My sister and family want ot go to WDW and I might provide her the points from my alotment. How hard is it for me to rent points from someone? I would want them transferred to my account so I can make my own ressies. Another question. If the points I rent and transfer into my account are from, say OKW, can I make ressies at OKW at the 11 month window or will they assume the same status as my points, BCV? Thanks.

My understanding is that they remain OKW points, having the 11 month window there.

I think you would be able to rent points readily from the board.
