transferring points

I have XX points (feb use year) that I must bank before 9/30/14.

We prob won't use them next year so I am thinking of transferring them to another member. I have a few questions:

1. Will the person I transfer to be able to bank them into the 2015 use year?

2. or would they have to use the points by feb 2015?

The person would be eligible to bank them and use them in the 2015 UY.
