Transferring points

We have two friends who each want to transfer us points, long story, but one was told by member services that we could only receive one transfer a year. I have not called myself, but was wondering if anyone has faced this problem. TIA

Yep, one transfer in or out (but not both) per use year.

As PP said 1 transfer in OR out is all you can do per UY. You could get a transfer of say 2013 points from 1 friend and a transfer from 2014 points from the other if they are willing. If they have a late UY they may even still have 2012 points they can transfer you and then 2013. Remember banked and/or borrowed points cannot be transferred! Once the transfer is complete you can then bank the points which still maintains the UY and home resort that the points originally came from.

To clarify it is your use year that controls. Now if you are nearing the beginning of your use year you can do one just before and one just after.

Side question, anyone think DVC will ever fix the issue of transferred points not showing up on dvcemember.com? I hate having to "trust" that they're there. I just transferred in and banked 165 points from another member. We did a conference call to make it happen, so that's good. I just wish I could "see" them there.

Considering it is against policy to pay for transfers, and I am sure they know that it is happening, no I don't think they will do anything to make it easier.

It was the first time we'd done a point transfer. Was surprised this was still an issue.
