Transferring Points Between Yourself

I think it's still hit or miss depending on the knowledge of the CM. Also, my info suggests that it does count in a sense in that if you did a transfer between two separate master accounts you owned, it's unlikely you're be allowed another outside those accounts.

Yes, I was afraid it would be hit or miss. Well, good thing I don't think I will need to transfer anything right away. But it's good to know, just in case. Thanks!

Here's a quote from an email a few years ago that I received.

Regarding the transferring of points between your contracts, basically it is looked at on a case by case basis.

In my experience it's largely dependent on two variables. These are the CM you get and the reasonableness of the transfer. For example, if you have 2 master contracts and need to combine points for a single night or want to reserve say DCL where all points must be in one contract, it's very easy to get them to do so. OTOH, I think they're far more reluctant where the need to do the additional transfer if less obvious. The obvious issue that sticks out is whether they'd allow the transfer in relationship to using the 7/11 month window and the 7 day advance reservation process. My guess is they would but I could see having to call a couple of times or speak to a supervisor to get it done.

I've been transferring between myself AND out to other members with no problems.
