Transferring an ADR to someone else - how does it work?

Hi there,

I am giving up an ADR I won't need for an upcoming trip to another person. I read on another thread that, to do this, you just need the name, phone number, party size (which should obviously be the same), and resort the person is staying at to make the switch.

My question - does the dining CM question this? Is it just as easy as saying, "Hi, this is Jane Doe. I need to change the name and contact number of this reservation to this person. And oh by the way, the resort is going to be AKV." Is that all it takes? I know it's my ADR to do with what I want, but I guess I just wonder what the CM will say or if they'll give me a hard time.

I'd appreciate hearing the experiences of those who have done this. Thanks!

I was just wondering about this tonight too. If I end up changing my Le Cellier ressie I would deffinately want to pass it on to a DIS'er.:)

wildeoscar is right - it's most efficient to just give the donee the reservation information (then, if they want to call and change the name, they can).
