transferrable AP?

I just came across somebody selling the remainder of their annual pass (child's - expires in December '03) on ebay. They claim that it can be used by anybody and that they bought it used to begin with. I am having a hard time understanding this because I have annual passes myself and have always had to use the finger scan. If this is true, I would be happy to allow my adult son to use my husband's when he goes in December.

Can anybody clarify this for me?

A child doesn't have to have his/her fingers read in the fingerbone scan. So, yes, I suppose a kiddo could use another kid's AP without a problem. Unless only the kid had the AP and no one else did. Then they might check the name. But it would have to be a kid under the age of 10. Once you get an adult ticket, you have to scan your fingers.

Your adult son could not use your husband's ticket since his fingers don't match your husband's.

APs are most definitely NOT transferable.

They are issued to one specific person, to be used ONLY by that one person, and that person's name is imprinted on the AP.

Using an AP issued to someone else, or allowing someone else to use yours, will get you into Very Big Disney Trouble. (I don't know exactly what they can do, but immediately cancelling the illegally used AP would be the first step...)

About 20% of the time they asked for ID for my DS and checked the name on the back against his ID

I had to whip out my Drivers License when the biometrics scan did not work

AP's are not transferable - right on the back of the ticket>>>

"Nontransferable - must be used by the same person on any and all days....Ticket and ID required for entry"
