Transfering Points Rules

I need 55pts for my July trip.
I have 25 current points (Dec 2006 pts)
My sister has 19 points I can have transfered to my account

Can I borrow the remaining points from my Dec 2007 pts?
Can I have another member transfer points to my account?

As long as your sister hasn't used up her once a year transfer (and you haven't either), she can transfer those points to you. They will retain the resort and use year of your sister's resort.

You can borrow from the next UY to make up the points you need for July.

But if you transfer in the points from your sister, you won't be able to transfer in any more by another member until next year (after Dec).

Your best option is to reserve part of the nights from your account and the rest from your sisters account and link the two reservations where they will be treated as one. Hopefully your sister will have access to he 3 extra points required for those 2 nights and you will have the 8 you can borrow. You could also transfer the 19 points to your account and borrow the remaining 11 if need be. You'd be using the one transfer for the use year for both of you which I would discourage. Or you could just borrow the extra 30 points from your 2007 use year.
