Transfer to port from NYC airport?

I learned Disney does not do transfers from Newark airport. How do you get to the cruise port from Newark?

I live in NJ on the train line that stops at Newark Liberty Airport (ewr). I take the train tickets to NY Penn Station and then walk to the port. The easiest way is to catch a cab from Penn Station to the port or you could catch a subway to 50th st and then a bus or walk.

Wow, this is trickier than I thought. We'll be coming from Cape May NJ, not an airport! I have taken the ferry in from Hoboken, will that get me close?

If you take the Hoboken ferry from 14th St to Manhattan (39th St, not Wall St or Financial District), it will get you fairly close. I think the pier is around 48th street. So you'd be about 10 blocks or so from the Passenger Ship Terminal.
