Transfer question

Hi all, just looking for some clarity on point transfer. Can I do one per MEMBERSHIP per year, or per contract? I have two contracts, same UY, same member number. I did a 2023 transfer already for RIV. Can I do a CCV transfer or no because it's just one per membership? Thanks!

One transfer transaction in or out of a membership. Number of contracts don’t matter.

Since you did RIV for 2023, you can not do anything else with 2023 points.

Thank you! Can you transfer 2024 points before the UY begins? This is for a 2024 vacation planning need but I want to have all points at 11 mth mark.

You can transfer out 2024 UY points once you are in your 2023 UY…or if the points coming in are from a membership that has started its 2023 UY.

And just to clarify, whatever you got for 2023 wasn’t for RIV..it was for the membership, even if your pupose was to use with the RIV points.

Those points are put into a temporary contract in your account to hold them.

Let's just say for an example someone has March 2023 UY CCV or RIV points available for transfer, I can have them transferred to my 2024 UY? I thought that it retained UY and home resort priority for a transfer so that's why I'm a bit confused. I know I can bank them once transferred which I'm assuming I would do if they transferred their 2023 points? Looking at June 2024 vacation if that helps an explanation. I just don't want to go down this road and screw it up and be unable to bank and use the points I appreciate your patient explanations as always Sandisw!

You’re amazing! I think I get it now, but my trip will be June 7-14, 2024 and my UY on RIV and CCV is March. I am trying not to bankrupt my 2025 points by too much borrowing so a transfer seems more ideal.

Okay, then for 2024 points, you can only get Feb, March, April or June since your trip will fall in the 2024 UY for those months.

All other UY months would require you to borrow the 2024 UY points back into the 2023 UY to be good in June 2024, and you can’t borrow transferred points.
