Transfer Points Question

I need to transfer points between my two contracts and I am confused.

I have a contract with a use year of June which has 0 points right now and will receive 107 this June (7 banked).

I have a contract with a use year of March which has around 160 availalbe in the current use year.

I need 302 points (give or take depending on what I book) for a cruise.

My thoughts were move the 107 to the March contract and then borrow whatever else I need from the next year. Can I do this NOW or do I need to wait until June when I get the new points?

I know once it's done it's done... anything else i need to consider. (I have never transferred before)

If I am reading it right you would have to wait till June till you get the 100 points for june you cannot borrow points to bank and you can also not transfer banked points. So the 7 that is banked will not be able to be transferred.

I have the same exact UY's for my two contracts, and just went thru this same senario for booking my cruise. I would contact MS and let them help you transfer just what you need from one contract to the other. What contract recieves the pts. depends on when your cruise is. They were terrific.....I also had a manager do it for me.

I thought about doing it the other way, but the 160 are actually on three contracts within the same "master" and as I read the new transfer rules I can't transfer all three of them as that violates the one per year clause.

Oh well, June is only two weeks away!

Unless the rules have changed, you can transfer current June 08 points before June, 2008. In Sept, 2007, we received a transfer of April 08 UY points.

As noted above, you can't transfer banked points at any time.

You should call MS and double check that your June contracts woudl require 3 separate trasnfers. I thought that transfers from a single Master Contract were all counted as one single transfer, but I have never done it so I can't speak with any experience.
