Transfer points or rent them out?

I just purchased a resale contract that came loaded with points from 07 with the 08 coming soon. There's no way I can use these points as well as my current contracts points. What is involved in transfering points and how is payment made? Am I right to assume that transferring is less risky to the "renter" ? Also, if I do rent them out, what is the usual requirement for payment? ( I know each individual is different) Do most renters require a downpayment to make the reservation? TIA

Transfering and renting are fairly easy to do. I would set up a paypal account if you don't already have one. This way you can receive funds quickly and the other party can feel more secure about using a credit card. Down payment for renting? We do.....50% down.....the remainder due 90 before departure. Some members want 100% right up front, some have no cancelleations. Its all up to you in how you want to hanle it. Transfering.....once you receive payment than you move the points the the other persons account and you can only transfer one time per UY, thats either in or out.

What is your UY? You may be too late to bank or they may already be banked. If they are already banked, you won't be able to transfer them.
