Transfer Points/Home Resort Question

I've been looking and can't seem to find the answer to this question -
if I have points transfered from someone whose home account is DVB into my account (home resort BWV) can I book the DVB points at the 11 mo. window for DVB? Or do they still follow the 7 mo. booking window for a non home resort. I understand that they will follow the use year. Thanks for the help.

transferred points will retain their original Home Resort status...so you should be able to book vero at 11 months out. (naturally you would not be able to use the DVB points at BWV until 7 months out...and use year month just tells you when they expire.)
