Transfer of Reservation from one TA to Another

Has anyone transferred their reservation from one TA to another and how does that work. Thanks.

I transferred my reservation from DCL to DU. It was very easy for me as I just had to fill out the form the DU agent gave me a link for and that was that. It went over nicely, I got very prompt and courteous treatment and save $50 on too!

It is okay to switch from DCL to a TA of your choice -- and DCL even encourages those to use a TA who chose to. BUT it is quite unethical for one TA to accept a transfer from another TA -- and you probably won't find any TA's who will agree to that practice.

The one way around it would be to cancel your existing ressie and book a new ressie with the TA of your choice.

Keep in mind if you cancel your ressie with your TA to book with another TA, you will be subject to the current availability and pricing of staterooms at that time. You will not be able to keep any existing Early Booking tier unless it happens to still be available for your new ressie.
