Transfer my resale points to direct owner

I am about to close on my first contract (resale), which includes banked points that must be used fairly quickly. Obviously, I cannot use them at Riviera. If I transfer them to a direct owner, can that owner then use them to stay at Riviera? Thanks!!

All restrictions and rules are attached to the points. Not the owner. So any transferred points will have the same resort, use year, and resale status as they did originally. So no they could not use them at Riv.

And, to add, banked points can not be transferred. So, those points must be used within your membership, by you, or by renting a reservation made with those points.
