Transfer from MK to AK

I am drawing a blank. Can't you go directly from the MK to AK/MGM? I know I went directly from AK to Epcot in the summer or did I just imagine it?

Park-to-park buses to and from the MK only run to the TTC. They do not go to the front gate of the MK like the resort buses do. You must take the boat or monorail from the MK to the TTC and catch a park bus to AK or MGM there.

There are direct busses from AK to MGM, Epcot, and the TTC, in addition to all the resorts.
