Transfer from 2 different resorts?

I'm a new DVC member and considering transferring pts in for an extended family vacation. Is it possible to make a point transfer from 2 different resorts if the transfer is being made all at once from 1 member?

I've spoke with 2 MS reps and received different answers so I thought I'd better ask you. Thanks for your help!

My understanding is that it would be two transfers in that case. We ourselves own multiple contracts in our family, and I know we have been allowed to combine them for the larger Disney Cruises that the family has taken in the past.

But, if you are looking to receive points from a member who owns at two different resorts to yourself I believe that would be counted as two if it is the same use year.

I agree with Carol's post. The only way that would be allowed is if they were from different UYs, such as 2009 and 2010, and then you might need to bank points to use for your planned vacation. When you are planning remember that you cannot borrow points you have received in a transfer, so if you receive a transfer of Dec 2010 points, they cannot be used for a vacation prior to Dec 2010. As long as it is done in 1 transaaction from 1 member it is 1 transfer, you can even transfer differnet points from different years and different resort as long as they are "tranferable points" and they come from 1 membership. Allways ask for a supervisor when doing any transfer that is not simple.

If the member has different use years, then the member has more than one membership. That would require two transfers which is not allowed.

Different years is what is was describing not different use years (really months). The term "use year" is where the beginning of most of the confusion starts.
