Hey-
I've never posted on the College boards before, but have lurked now and again.
I got my thihird of three acceptance letters today for a transfer application. I really wasn't expecting to get into this last one. I thought for sure I was done when the Director of Admission emailed me last week and asked me what I'd done during two interruptions of study. DFi just got out of the military, so we've moved around a lot.
I know this is a decision I have to make for myself, but I'm really torn. I was accepted into the Honors program at one of the schools- and I always thought I would end up there, to be honest. The other one has accepted me into my major and has a good name (yes, I know how that sounds). I am still waiting to hear on the financial aid/scholarship decisions. The commute is just about to the same place through city traffic, but it's bad regardless. All my credits have transferred to both. I'm not living on campus. Both have excellent programs in my major. Adding to the stress is our upcoming wedding at WDW in late December....
I'm really torn and am really unsure of myself and this decision. I've avoided student loans for so long, but know at this point I will be taking them out. The state school is out of contention with these two others for a number of reasons.
I'm just looking for food for thought, anything to chew on really. Family has such an intimate involvement. I think a 3rd objective party would help.
TIA guys!
xoxo
