Hello, has anyone taken a transborder bus/train from the GTA to Buffalo? What is the name of your bus service? How far is the bus terminal/train station from Buffalo Airport? Do you have to transfer to a different bus/train at the border? How do you clear customs? Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. I am thinking of flying out from Buffalo for the first time, and do not feel comfortable about leaving my car at the parking lot the entire trip.

Why are you not comfortable leaving your car? I think taking the bus would be a huge pain in the butt. The airport is in Cheektowaga the bus terminal would be downtown. You would have to take a cab to the airport adding more time and expense to the trip. Also how would you time your bus trip so you weren't at the airport for hours on end before your flight.

Well, I'm not the OP, but I'd love an answer if anyone's got one. It's not so much that I'm not comfortable leaving my car, it's more that I don't own a car lol.

I have to say that my car was fine, we left it there last year, get shuttle from the parking to the building and there is even a coupon on the airports website. Its nothing like pearson at BUF, more like a bit bigger than the Hamilton airport but with actual airlines using it. :)

I really believe your car will be fine in Buffalo and that the bus or whatever transportation you can find to get there would be more of a pain! Also you want to maybe stop and do a bit of Buffalo shopping or duty free???:goodvibes

We love driving and then flying out of Buffalo!;)

I'm another one who flys from Buffalo. Seriously, you don't have to worry about your car. If you use the on-site parking, it's secure and well monitored. We've used it often and have never had a problem. Plus the airport isn't exactly in the worst part of town.
