TransAtlantic Excursions

Can anyone provide any feedback on the following excursions:
1. Gaudi and Barcelona
2. Gibraltar Walking Tour
3. Seeing Seville
4. Mount Teide Jeep Safari

I have read through the various reports and they have great information about the Med itinerary and excursions. However, I was hoping some had information about the above or other excursions from the May transatlantic crossing.

Are you going on the repo cruise in Aug? Have you heard or know anything about weather conditions at the ports and with the transatlantic crossing? I think we are going to do the beach day at the hotel in the Canary Island stop.

Hi

All the ports of call on the Transatlantic Repo will have hot weather. Tenerife is scorching that time of the year, although the North is generally cloudier than the South of the island. We were in Tenerife last August and it was really hot.

Now the crossing iteself after Tenerife I'm not sure what to expect there. Looking at the map, the crossing follows more or less the same latitude as the Canary Islands so my guess is the weather should be good, albeit breezy!

I heard the port stops will be hot. However, I have heard that it will be much cooler during the crossing, especially at night. From fellow dissers and from other research it appears that we may need sweaters, sweats, etc at night to be out on deck. It appears to be more windy during the cross. Also, it appears that seas will be more rolly and wave height higher than what is generally expected from a cruise. I gues the open ocean is part of the adventure. Other than that you can get average temperatures for Spain, Gibraltar and the Canary Islands.
