Hi.. I'll be going on out 1st disney cruise in dec. B4 the cruise we will be staying off-site and using car service to get to the ship. After the cruise , we will be staying on-site. Do I need t use a car service or does Disney provide it. I know they tranfers to and from aiport but what if you are just going to a hotel?
Thanks

I don't know the answer about the Disney transfers taking you to a hotel although I'm sure you could call Disney and ask them.

When we went in 2002 we were a family of 5 plus grandparents. We got a car service and it was the best! THey took us from MCO to the Poly (land/sea hotel) and then took us to the port. After the cruise they came back and picked us up and took us to Port Orleans Riverside where we stayed an extra 2 nights and then they picked us up at POR and took us to the airport! It worked like a charm and we had no regrets doing it that way.

FOr this last trip we used 1 company to take us from MCO to POR as a 1 way trip (and I'm glad we did because we had the worst unhelpful driver you could imagine) and then we used a limo company to take us from POR to the Port and back to MCO after the cruise. I think it cost us $40.00 more to take the car/limo than it would to take the Disney Transfers AND it was much less stress as we could go when WE wanted to go not when Disney wanted us to go.

We are on the Disney cruise in August and have arranged with Disney for transfers on their Cruise buses back to our Disney Hotel after the cruise.

They will certainly take you back to a WDW resort - just make sure to get on the right bus! They have different buses depending on where you are staying.

That said, you may make many stops along the way to drop off passengers. We were lucky - they stopped at the POR first, which is where we were staying.

For our 5/1 Magic cruise we used Disney transfers (buses) to go from Hyatt to Magic and from Magic to Coronado Springs. We scheduled a taxi-van to go from Coronado Springs back to MCO since it was way cheaper ($50.00 for party of 5 adults). One advantage of the Disney buses is the cartoons that you can watch on the hour long trip. Don't know what amentities the limos offer.

When we picked up our luggage after the cruise we told the porter which hotel we were headed to and he took us to the right bus. VERY hassle free.

The disney cruise buses will take u back to the world , the cost is $25.00 per person if it has not gone up since last October..

Since u are using private service to get there I would also use it to get to the world

if u were going to the airport after cruise i would say just take the bus but u have more fun to get to and u should get to it....
