When I think I'm all set I keep thinking up new questions. Does the DL RR run during fireworks? What else may or may not run then? :donald:

No And almost all of fantasyland is shut down. Nor do the Monorails run

This is with good reason. I was leaving during the fireworks one time earlier this year and saw from the parking lot a shell blow up on the ground nobody was hurt, but no way in heck that I'd want guests back there.

Of course, the worst part of the fireworks is trying to get anywhere during them.

Yeah, fireworks and parades both frustrate me sometimes. It makes walking around the park a constant battle. My favorite thing we've done during the fireworks was to ride Splash Mountain. It's makes it really neat for the portions of the ride that are outside. :thumbsup2

We're thinking of getting ourselves 'trapped' in Tomorrowland so hopefully most of that (especially SM) will be going, but I also want to make sure we get over there in time. I remember not being able to walk through the central hub up to a half an hour before fireworks start. :tiptoe:

The hub is a little better than all that now. Though it isn't plesent. They route you around very specifically. They even have lighted signs.
All of Tomorrowland except the train will be running. If you'll be there on a weekend, then what I'd do is sit and watch the Tomorrowland Terrace entertainment's 8:45? I think? Set and then get in line for your attraction. I like the Matterhorn, because you can see some of the interior which is lit up for Tinkerbell.

It's fun to ride the Matterhorn during the fireworks too since you are in and out. I imagine it would be a lot like riding Splash during the same time, only closer :)

In the days of the Mine Train there used to be a "Fireworks Special", which would stop out in the Nature's Wonderland area during the fireworks. That would have been special if I'd known about it back then. I also understand the Mark Twain had special sailings before it was appropriated for the Fantasmic show.

I read in someone's recent trip report that they were surprised to find the DLRR running during the RDCT fireworks, so I don't believe it is a fast and set rule that they never run them during the show.

Does the DL RR run during fireworks?

During our trip earlier this month we rode the train during the fireworks...as we were nearing ToonTown...this is what you will hear from the train conductor...IT WILL BE LOUD...COVER YOUR EARS...and if you have small children it is best to cover their ears, it will be loud!...the fireworks are set-off behind ToonTown and then...THE LOUDEST BOOM I HAVE EVER HEARD WENT OFF and my ears rang :scared1: ...be warned.... ...JC
