Train/Transfers questions...

Next time we go we wil be taking the train from CT to Kissemmee. My question is how far is it from the train station in Kissemmee and has anyone ever used a town car from the train station to WDW. Thanks.

We also take the train to Kissimmee, from Ohio. We have never used a limo service, the cabs have been okay. The trip is about 20 minutes and runs, cab fare, about 35.00 one way. Got off once at Orlando and that station is like a zoo, everyone gets off there and races for the cabs, rent a cars etc. Kissimmee is another 20 to 30 minutes down the track, and we usually get off with, maybe 10 others. Ample cabs are always there. Enjoy your trip!!

We have never traveled by train, this will be the first time. Do they check luggage or do you keep it with you? Is there space for a carry on like the airplanes?

Yes to both. You check two pieces of luggage per person. There are overhead racks in the cars.
Some, but not all cars have electrical outlets next to the seats for personal computers, DVD players, etc.
