Trails Inn to Go?

Is this a possibility? During our MK day could we boat over to Fort Wilderness to get Trails Inn Chicken to go and have a picnic and let the kids run around and play out of their strollers for a break? This has always been one of our favorite places to eat, my daughter thinks she read somewhere that they are serving to go meals.

I'm assuming you mean Trail's End? It is not currently open, with no opening date announced yet.

P&J's Takeout is open. That might work for you.

P&Js (located within Trails End) is open and has the same fried chicken. I think your idea is great! Note that the playground is unfortunately closed, but your kids can still run around and play on the beach.

Update! People are reporting the FW playground opened today!!

We've ordered from P&J's in past and to us the chicken/menu items were as good as what you'd get from TE. I don't know what the menu shows post-covid shut down or what the current food quality is, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I'd bet it's still as great as it was prior.
