Trails End?

How difficult is it to go from the parks to Trails End at Fort Wilderness? We want to check out the campground as well as eat at least one meal there. It looks like a great price for a buffet. Would it be easier to go back to our resort and drive or take disney transportation?

Trails End is very easy to get to from the MK. Just take the boat from MK to FW. You can also get to FW via boat from CR and WL.

Once you get off the boat, it is a very short walk from the dock. Just walk up the path, bear right at the fork in the path, and it's the big building on your right. (the door is just before the HDDR)

Trails End is a fantastic place to eat. We've only had breakfast there twice, but I understand from these boards that lunch and dinner are just as good. The value is unbeatable!

We stayed in the FW cabins a few years ago...we loved them! If you have a chance to take a look at one, do so! They are great to stay in if you need a bit more space and would like a kitchen.
