Thinking about having breakfast at Trails end but we are staying off-site.:cool1:

Do we park at the TTC & get a boat from there?

Or do we park at the TTC get a boat or monorail to MK & then get a boat to the campsite?

Or do we park elsewhere?

DH doesn't want to drive to FW & then catch an internal bus.

What time will Trails End be open in the morning? :confused3

Thanks

Parking at FW then using the internal bus realy is the best choice, why does your DH not want to do this. If you park at TTC you will have to pay to park, catch at ferry or monorail to MK(and these won't run until about 1 hour before MK opens) then transfer to the boat to FW(again it won't run until ABOUT 1 hour before MK opens).

I think TE opens at 7:30am but I'm not usually up that early so I'm not sure.

Could you park at the Cont then take the boat to Ft Wilderness and then after breakfast take the boat to MK. Then after the day is done you could just walk or take the monorail to Cont. Of course with the security check at the parking lot I'm not sure if this will work, what time does the resort monorail start running from TCC? Maybe take the monrail to Cont, boat to FW, and the boat to MK?

The CR parking lot is only for CR hotel guest and those with ADRs. If you are not an overnight guest(only there for a meal) you will get a 3 hour parking pass and risk being towed if you overstay your welcome. While it is unlikely that you would be towed it is possible.

I agree! We stayed offsite but wanted to check out FW so we parked, got on an internal bus and viola!! you are there, very easy. Much easier than going to TTC and having to pay for parking then get on a boat. Its also nice to take the intenal bus system so you can see what FW really looks like. I wonder why your husband is adverse to this. Good luck. I have never eaten at Trails End but have an ADR for dinner in August, I hear it is the best/cheapest buffet at WDW. :yay:

I think one of my questions was answered. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge and have decided to take the boat to Trails End on my very last day before we have to catch the Magical Express at 1 pm.

I see it is open at 7:30 a.m., so does that mean if MK opens at 9 am that day, then the boats will not be running until 8 a.m.

If so, that should still give us plenty of time to get there, eat, and return before 11 am to check out of the hotel, huh???

Trails End got to be the best and lowest cost buffet in DISNEY.

The smaller launches that run WL, FW, CR start at about 7am(sometimes earlier) or you can ride the bus from WL to FW, though it is not realy as pretty. There is also a walkway between WL and FW and the walk will take about 20 min and is very nice.
