This place is one of our new "Family Traditions" on our trips. We have 6 adults, a 4 year old, a 15-month old, and an infant... at least for now
The food is great - basically the Hoop-Dee-Do food without the Hoop-Dee-Do show and price. We've done both the lunch and dinner - we think we all prefer the dinner at this point, as the buffet selections are wider, without a significant increase in price.
The food is very typical beach/picnic/cookout food, but hot and well-prepared. Fried Chicken, Ribs (at dinner), Potatoes, Coleslaw, and some delicious Corn (anything drowned in butter and tossed with black pepper is bound to be delish). WDWInfo has your menu

When it comes time for dessert, consider grabbing one of the small cast iron bowls, filling it with the fresh cobbler, and topping it with the soft serve ice cream. Thank me later!
Sadly, our family doesn't speak much during this meal. Mostly due to the fact that we're all stuffing our faces.
Just some thoughts
