We are arriving 5/2 and will not spend the day in the parks, need rest after drive from Pa. We are staying at the CR and I was thinking it might be relaxing to take the boat, eat at Trails End and let the little one see the animals. How much is the dinnner buffet? Thanks.

Oh gosh I can't remember the price but go to WWW.WDWIG.COM for the price and menu. Just wanted to say I highly recommend it. It is very relaxing and it's one of our faves. Not only is there a petting zoo but there is a small playground right outside that our 2 and s6 year old loved. It's nice just to walk around. Enjoy!

WDWIG shows dinner prices of $15.99 for adults and $6.99 for kids 3 up. You'll enjoy the meal, and there are nice rocking chairs on the front porch and a playground right nearby.

I think the petting zoo closes at dusk, though, so you may want to hit it first. There are pony rides till 5 p.m., I think.

We love Fort Wilderness for a visit. They also have hayrides and carriage rides at night.

FW is our favorite place to stay & dine at. The dinner buffet is great. Make sure you get back for the breakfast buffet. It's the best value in WDW!!

They also serve pizza & light snacks in Crockett's Tavern (in the same building as Trail's End) which isn't too bad.

Have a great time. :)
