Trails End or Whispering Cannon

Looking to try a new breakfast spot, we’ve always been loyal to Tusker House, but I’d like to switch things up a bit. Suggestions?

We love Whispering Canyon for breakfast. We've eaten here several times and always like it.

The breakfast skillet at WC is one of the best values on property, IMO. $18/person for adults. Cheddar biscuits and sawmill gravy are very good.

Kids will enjoy Shtick at Whispering Canyon. I like Trails End, if you aren't rushing to a Park. Before or after visiting the horses and just a relaxing low key part of the visit.

We love Whispering Canyon and all the antics, but I didn't find their breakfast to be anything special. If I had to choose just between the two I'd go with Trails End, just because they have more plentiful and better options (their french toast bread pudding is amazing).

That said I'd also offer you consider The Wave. It is our favorite buffet on property as the prices are low, food delicious, and its much smaller than the other buffets so they food IMO is much fresher. And if you are really looking to splurge California Grill brunch is perfection! Its pricey, but you won't find a better breakfast or brunch on property

Of the two you list, Trail's End. Great bargain and solid food. Our home is WL, so we walk to TE along the paved bike path. Great way to work off a few calories. Have been to WCC a few times and never been impressed with the food nor the service. TE is buffet, so you'll have more options and choices than the set all-you-care-to-eat skillet meal at WCC.

Yet another vote for Whispering Canyon. The antics make it worth going and the food (at least for dinner) is good,

I like the Wave for breakfast. Mostly bc we usually stay on property. The food is always consistent, which is something rare these days at Disney.

Trails End has an excellent breakfast buffet. We eat there every time we go to WDW.
Have always liked WC, but Trails End has been excellent except for the last time we went in late morning. Seemed like they were scraping together whatever was left to serve. Real turn off.

I haven't had breakfast at the Trail's End in almost 30 years, lol. Back then, it was just a quick bite first thing in the morning before heading to the parks. I never really thought about it as any sort of destination. My how things change!

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! I’d rather go out for breakfast than dinner lol

I would vote for Whispering Canyon. However; Crystal Palace in MK is my favorite breakfast spot.

I will definitely check out The Wave considering you are the foodie goddess lol.

Between these two? Trails End by a large margin. But then again, we aren't fans of the "antics" at WCC (yes, even the toned down ones at breakfast) and would hit TE whenever the choice arose.
