Trail's End Lunch?

I've read great things about the Trail's End breakfasts and dinners, but nobody has said anything about the lunch! I was planning on walking over from WL to explore Ft. Wilderness one afternoon, and thought it would be fun to try.

Lunch is per menu instead of buffet. I have not tried since the switch although some of the items sound interesting. Most people seem to prefer the buffet for the variety it offers. Since the switch, I know I have read good and bad, but that is with every place. I will probably try the lunch at some point, if I get the chance.

Thanks! I recall coming across some posts somewhere saying that the lunch wasn't as good as the dinner, but I don't remember where I saw it, or why they thought so. I'm not a big buffet fan, so a la carte will always appeal more to me.

We have had the lunch many times, often getting a family order and bringing it back to our campsite. Love the fried chicken and pizza.
