Trails End Buffet!!!

Trails End and connection voucher?

I was wondering if anyone know's if you can use a quick and casual meal voucher for the lunch. It is listed as a vacation kingdom voucher on Mousesaver's but they are 29.50 so that wouldn't make much sense because the price of the buffet is 8.99, but the 11.00 quick and casual voucher would be a good deal since the drink is not included in the buffet price.I haven't ordered new vouchers yet so I wasn't sure. Thanks!

We have been to Trail's End a couple of times. Two years ago we went after a day at a Water Park when we didn't want to go into a park. We had buffalo that night. we made all the kids try it without telling them what it wsa.

This summer we camped with another family. They went once the night they checked in. We all went two more times during the week. We found it to be a great place for a buffet without costing an arm and a leg.

The menu changes every night and if you had something before they go out of their way to get it to you.

Ask for Joy, we had her twice and she was great.

I have a couple of Questions. Deb's site list 4:30 as the start of Dinner. Is this still accurate? Also, how long does it take to get to MK? I was thinking about doing this before MVMCP. I figured if we arrived around 4:30 we should be able to make it to the MK by 6:00 or a little after. I have heard that fort wilderness is an large place and I am wondering if my timing is all off.

Thanks

Jeremy

It's just a short walk down the path to the boat dock, where you can catch a boat directly to the MK, so that part shouldn't take you too much time. We never waited more then ten minutes for a boat in Aug.

When we stayed at FW in Aug. we ate at TE *constantly*, it was that good, really. Soup and cornbread to die for...

Can anyone tell me what's on the dinner buffet (I know some of it changes nightly) & also what's the price of the dinner buffet? How would we get there from the Wilderness Lodge?

From Wilderness Lodge you can walk (exercise before eating, ha!), or catch a boat. The littler of the boats does a triangle between FW/WL/Con. We never waited very long for a boat, and kids love the ride!

Dinner buffet: two homemade soups(wonderful!), cornbread plus one other type of bread/biscuit, fruit/salad bar, variety of meats and side dishes (almost always fried chicken, ribs, some type of "regular" meat, potatoes, noodle dish, etc), brown betty (yum, yum). It really changed quite regularly, but was all delicious!
