Trail's End Buffet

Has anyone been lately, is it good, do they have shrimp, and do I need ADR for April 4?

The food was delicious as always! Huge pieces of chicken and ribs that weren't all fat! Shrimp and salmon are on the menu. This is one of my husband's three favorite restaurants! The only down side is that there is only one main/side dish food line. Salads, soups desserts and ice cream are on a separate line. In other words, it isn't like Crystal Palace with two lines for food with the same food being on each side, therefore reducing the time in line. (The wait can't be that bad if my husband is willing to do it!)

As for an ADR, it couldn't hurt. Better safe than sorry. BTW, the food I mention above was dinner, we've not been for lunch in a while. I heard that they changed the menu to cold chicken and cold cuts at lunch. We are not interested in that, maybe someone else knows if that has changed.

Do you know if there's a separate price for just the salad bar instead of buying the entire buffet?

The price of the salad bar is included in the buffet. I don't believe that it can be ordered separately. The good thing is that the dinner buffet is 20.99 per adult, which by Disney standards is cheap! Another reason my husband likes it!

Once upon a time, you could go in and order food to go. That may still be possible, it is just something that we've never done.

We have always done breakfast there and found it a great deal. Last week we tried it for dinner, it was so good we returned the next night to have dinner again.
Sorry no shrimp, but it is a fablulous Disney Deal.

Last time I was there for dinner they did have shrimp. However it might have changed. Great food by the way.

Shrimp was there Sunday evening. It is by the salad bar.

We saw shrimp too and we never needed a ressie. But it doesn't hurt to make one if you want to!!
