Trail's End Brunch - want to confirm something

After going back and forth, due to delay of our departure flight, we decided to add park day since our flight is 7:55 pm. I know we have to be back at our resort 3 hours before so I think we have plenty of time.

I went ahead and booked Trail's End Brunch for 7:35 am. I mentioned here before my son doesn't like breakfast food but for Saturday brunch it looks like there's non-breakfast food such as fried chicken.

Can someone confirm if there will be fried chicken 7:30 am? or do they come out later?

And there is bus that will take us to any of the park after our brunch right? (Sorry, forgot what you guys told me - I will write it down this time). :)

7:30 am -2:00 pm is weekend brunch. The brunch menu states there will be fried chicken, omelettes, etc., so that is what we are expecting in a few weeks.

I don't know about a bus to any park. The internal buses near TE (Settlement Depot) will take you to the external buses near FW entrance (Outpost Depot)...which can then take you to AK/Epcot/DHS. However, I believe you have to boat to MK; there is no direct bus. Boats to MK are within walking distance of TE.

I found my note as to how to get to TE from Pop. I guess I did write it down. From POP, take bus to MK and then boat to FW, then walk to TW?

My plan is to go to Epcot after brunch so from FW, take boat to Epcot? Is this right? Is there only one boat or is there separate boat to MK and Epcot?

Thank you

I believe I read that the more " lunch" type food at the brunch is put out at 11. I would never expect fried chicken at 7:30 AM.
EPCOT Is no where near waterways connected to FW. You need to take an internal bus from Trails End to the Outpost bus depot then wait for and switch to a bus to Epcot.
Is this all on your travel day? Personally I would rethink it. I don't think the food is going to please your son at that time of the morning. And Epcot is not convenient to FW IMHO.
Good Luck

Fried Chicken has been on TE's normal breakfast buffet when I have gone at 8:00 am, so I see no reason for it not to be for a "brunch" around the same time.

FW To Epcot Options via WDW Transportation:
  • Internal bus from Settlement (near TE) to Outpost (main entrance) then get on bus to Epcot.
  • Bus/Walk from Settlement to WL and bus to Epcot (there is a boat option but you end up back tracking for this)
  • Boat from FW to Contemporary go inside and take monorail to TTC then switch to monorail to Epcot.
I would probably go with the bus from WL or Outpost of FW. When my parents took the Epcot to FW route via the monorail/boat, it took them a good 15-20 minutes extra.

I stand corrected about the chicken. What about the other lunch type food at the brunch?

WOW...I went there last year for dinner, after reading rave reviews here. It was the worst food I have ever had at Disney. Literally leftovers from the BBQ and Hoop Dee Doo. Nothing fresh or good about it. Now, if that was dinner, I cant imagine brunch. Left overs from the same night was bad enough...but the next day ??? ICK !!! Bllllhaaahhhhhh.

"Literally" leftovers? Did they bring in buckets from HDD & scrape them out onto the buffet? I classify 80% of Disney buffet food as "worse than mediocre," but they did not serve you leftovers. That's just ridiculous.

It was the same exact food from the show and BBQ and our ressie was at 7:30pm. Considering they share a kitchen, I would absolutely say it was the leftovers from both shows. Probably not the scrappings, but defintely was made hours prior and sat in the kitchen until it was time to refill the Trails End station. I have eaten at almost every buffet at WDW and have never found an issue with finding something edible. Is everything great? No, but there are a bunch of things and freshness has never been an issue.....until Trails End.

1) The amount of things like BBQ items are slim, as most people don't want that so early in the day.
2) Of course, ribs might be a good idea.
. . . many-a-morning over breakfast MrsRustyScupper has said to me, "I want to pick a bone with you."
