Trails End ADR??

Hey! We will be staying at the FW cabins the week of thanksgiving and we are planning on having a few meals at Trails end, but just on the days that we dont feel like cooking or getting up super early. More of the spontaneous meal plan. Does anyone know if it is really necessary to make ADRs for those days? For example, we are planning epcot on Monday the 24th with a whatever breakfast likely trails end, should I go ahead and make a reservation even though we arent sure we will use it?

Also, does anyone have any suggestions about things that cant be missed at the fort? Activities, sights, things like that? We are renting a gc so I know "looping" will be on the agenda!

The campfire sing a long and movie is nice. (Beware of 4 yrs. old swinging flaming sticks of roasted marshmellows or using them as swords against each other ). You can buy items to make smores there.

Fire works from the Magic Kingdom can be seen along the beach, along with the Electric Pag. Parade.

Horseback riding (fee charged) or the free hayride. Boat rental. Fishing...lots and lots of fun at the Fort.

Not sure how busy that time is, but we only had advanced dining once during our stay in May and that was because the triathlon was going on and very, very crowded. All the other days we just showed up with no problem getting in. Love breakfast at TE! DH says it's better than lunch.

I'd say the week of T/G would be a good time for ADR's. The hayride is nice tho there is a charge for it.

We've never HAD to make reservations, but during that time frame you may want to seriously consider it. It'll probably be busier then than in the April/May/June when we usually go.
