We will Be at WDW July 12-19 and staying at the Pop. We were thinking about going to the Chip N Dale sing a long and movie at FW. Have never been out there and would like to see it. We were thinking of eating at the Trail End Buffet for dinner one night. How is the food?

We need to make our ADR in two weeks and were trying to decide on where to eat. We have two DS's (11 and 14). We were thinking of either the movie or taking on of the wagon rides. How are the wagon rides?

Thanks for your help!!

We did the same thing in August. Took the bus from POP to the MK, then the boat over to FW. Trails End's food was good. Basic BBQ food. If you have been to HDDR it's the same menu. Fired Chicken, Ribs, etc...

We did a 5:00 ADR and had plenty of time to get to the Campfire. We did not do the wagon ride. The petting zoo is no longer there, but with the ages of your kids I guess that's not that big of a deal.

We've always been pleased with the food at Trail's End. They have had chilled peel and eat shrimp, ham, pizza, fried chicken, salad, soup, cornbread, roasted potatoes and roast beef(maybe prime rib one time). We feel it is one of the better values we have found at WDW.

We went last August for dinner the night we arrived. The food was good, great salad bar, extremely fresh and the rest of the food was pretty good as well. We were hoping for ribs but there were none that night. I do have to say our waitress stunk! She didn't know our table was hers and she had an attitude about it once she found out. She could have cared less and it really showed. That was a little disappointing but we didn't let it bother us. The food however, was pretty good and the kids enjoyed it.

We've only done the breakfast buffet, and it was AWESOME. :thumbsup2

We've enjoyed the dinner buffet at Trail's End many times. Its not as large or as elaborate as some of the other WDW buffets but has great basic food and a wonderful salad bar. The desserts aren't as good as other buffets but I don't need to be eating a ton of desserts anyhow! And the price can't be beat.
