It has been a few years since we've been to WDW on Thanksgiving and DH would really like to have a traditional Thanksgiving meal - with turkey, stuffing, etc. I know that LTT and GG offer that but with two young children that sometimes seem to live off of air I'd rather not do a buffet. We will also, more than likely, be meeting some friends for this meal so there will be a total of four adults and four kids between ages of 9 - 5.

So I'm hoping some DISsers can help give me some ideas of places, on property, that will be offering a traditional Thanksgiving turkey meal. TIA!

For what it is worth, Liberty Tree and Garden Grill aren't buffets, they are family style restaurants where the food is brought to your table and shared by all. Most restaurants on property offer traditional Thanksgiving fare in addition to their regular menu items on Turkey day. Enjoy1

We went for Thanksgiving 2008 and almost every restaurant offers a tradition dinner choice. The restaurants differ in their offerings and prices and some still offer their regular menu choices. The best place for information on Thanksgivng dinner choices is allearsnet.com. That is where I went to plan my Thanksgiving dinner. We had reservations at LeCellier. Some of us ordered the traditional meal and some ordered off the menu. The kids ordered steak from the kids menu. The Thanksgiving meal was ok, I wouldn't eat there again for Thanksgivng. Friends of ours were there at the same time and they ate at Boatwrights and enjoyed the meal.
Good luck with the planning!

Thank you for letting my know that most restaurants will offer a traditional Thanksgiving meal. And I know that LTT & GG aren't buffets in the traditional sense of the word. ;) I just meant that I would prefer to not eat somewhere that you are paying one lump sum, regardless of how the food gets to your table, because my kids don't eat $15+ each per meal.
