My DF and I really want to keep it so that we do not see eachother until I am walking down the aisle (boardwalk...whatever ;) ) Anyways.....is this possible for an intimate wedding...the way I am reading it sounds like we all just show up 30 mins. prior and then we just get married, it sounds a little unromantic.....can anyone reassure me? I just really want the first time we see eachother that day to be when my Dad is giving me away.

If you do not want to see each other until that moment, Disney will make it happen that way for you...don't worry!

My intimate paperwork specifically says that the bride and groom won't see each other (unless we want to!). They will have the groom meet them 45 mins prior and the bride 30 mins prior.

You might also want to discuss with your officant about having the groom stand facing him...until the officiant gives him the okay (be sure to let your photographer know to catch that moment!)

Best wishes!!!

That is an amazing idea, then we can capture that "first look"!! Love it! It gives me chills already!!

You definitely do not have to see each other before the wedding. We had an Intimate and it was very important to me that once we said "good night" after the rehearsal dinner that we would not see each other until I walked down the aisle (well, out onto the balcony of the WL anyway ;) ) I'm just old fashioned that way I guess. DH didn't care either way but he wanted to do what made me happy. So, don't worry, communicate to your EM that you don't want to see each other before you walk in and she'll make that happen!

I didn't see my hubby and he didn't see me until I was walking down the boardwalk at SBP! :) It was even more amazing I think, than being anywhere else. It was the first time my family saw me as well. It was so great to see their reactions and my DH shedding a few tears. :lovestruc VERY ROMANTIC!!! princess: I promise...

My EM asked me just before I was ready to come down, and I said no I would prefer to 'meet him at the altar'.
Don't worry they will ask you. Most brides I am sure do the same thing.

Disney is very accomidating about this. I didn't want my DH to see me before, BUT he was walking with me down the aisle. So, they had him wait in a different part of the lobby, until Randy took him outside to get set up. He then set him up with his back to me, until I was set up. Then Randy told him when to turn around. It ended up being my favorite part of our wedding. We had about 10 mins just us and Randy snapping pics.
