Traditional Paper Layout Challenge #5

Sorry that I didn't get this posted yeaterday as promised - a nasty bug hit our family, thankfully it only lasted 24 hours!

Onto the Challenge!

For layout challenge #5:

*Use the color brown somewhere in your layout - this is my favorite color!
*Use the number 5 somewhere on your layout
*HAND JOURNAL on your layout - this is a BIG one for me - I haven't hand journaled in years!

Good luck and I can't wait to see what you come up with! This one will end on July 22nd.

How funny, I have a LO like this sitting on my table...
The reason for my #5 is weird too.... My DS13 was inducted into NJHS in March...at that time... 5 of his soccer teammates were also inducted... So the coach had to cancel practice that night because of the number of players missing from his starting line up! LOL

I'll have this up over the weekend.... got to get started on my list for the day before I can play in the scrapbook room!

It's just a matter of time. Hopefully I can get into my scrapping room before the deadline and do this. I have the pictures, I have the paper, I have the embellishments, I'll just have to lock myself away in my girl cave. I love the challenges, brown is not a color I typically use, but I love it with creams, pinks, or teal. I will try to do this honest, I will.

Ok, I'm not happy with this layout at all and will probably redo it in some way, but it meets the requirements so I'm going to post it anyway. Originally it said Emily - Day 5 as my niece spent a week visiting. I tried adding patterned paper and didn't like that either.
