DH & I are thinking about going to Disneyland in CA this winter. They're currently running a special of $209/pp, including 3 day parkhoppers. We had planned on buying PAPs before the turn of the year so that we can beat the price increases, etc for the 50th anniversary. Does anyone know how much they'll give you to upgrade from a 3-day PH to PAP? Would it be worth it, or should we just buy our PAPs & Priceline for a $45/night hotel room?

Thanks.

Hi Sara!

Ordinarily, if you wanted to trade up 3 day passes to AP, Disney would apply the price that you paid for the passes to the AP.

But since this sounds like it is part of a package, I do not think that you can upgrade these passes.

I hope the our resident ticket "expert," Golden Oldie will weigh in on this. :)

I will weigh in with this: ask this on the Disneyland Board. ;)

WDW and DL are run completely differently. What applies to WDW often does not apply to DL. If you wanted to know about doing this in Florida, I can help. But California isn't in my sphere of expertise, sorry.
