Trading tickets in?

I know you can upgrade tickets you have purchased when you are buying a more expensive ticket.

I have two 2 day passes (not park hopper) with a plus that have to be used within 7 days after the first is used. These were obtained through a TS visit. My DH and I have annual passes so we don't need them. We are taking my daughter and her family to DW and are buying the tickets. Is there any chance Disney will let me trade these in for park hoppers?

The plus on these also include Disney Quest. Is that included in the normal park hoppers?

Would it be better just to sell these on e-bay? I've never done that and don't really know how to go about it.

Thanks for the help.

Park Hopper Plus tickets do not include DQ.

I don't know if Disney will allow you a credit for these TS passes towards a PHP ticket. Sometimes those type of "complimentary" passes are not upgradable and must be used as is. You'll probably have to take them to Guest Services when you arrive and see what they say. As far as I know (and I sure don't know everything there is to know about all the different types of specialty tickets) there's no way to be sure ahead of time. If they do allow you to upgrade, you will only get a credit equal to the amount that the TS people paid for the tickets - might be better to just use them for admission than to trade them in for a credit.

If it were me (especially if I were planning to go to DQ), I'd keep them and use them myself in the future or allow my daughter's family to use them this trip. I am assuming there is no expiration date on the tickets. You won't be hopping every day, will you?

As you of course know, DQ and the plus options (PI, BB & TL) are not included in your AP. (They are included in a PAP if you have that, though). The DQ option alone is worth at least $15 (that's the lowest price I've seen offered for DQ admission).

Best wishes -

Thanks for the input Carol.

I didn't think about the fact that the TS sales probably didn't pay that much for the tickets.

We'll never need them because we go to DW 4 or 5 times a year and will always have annual passes.

I'll probably give them to my daughter. The reason I wanted all hopper for her is we stay at BCV and usually walk over to Epcot every evening. I guess we can go 2 days without our Epcot fix.:sad2:
